About Us

In Unity, we believe in five (5) key principles which support and bless our lives:
  1. God Is: There is only one Presence and one Power active in the Universe and in my life, God the Good, everywhere present.
  2. I Am: We are spiritual beings, created in God’s image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.
  3. I Think It: We create our life experiences through our ways of thinking, feeling and believing.
  4. I Pray It: Through affirmative prayer and meditation, we align ourselves with God.
  5. I Live It: Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We live them out in the world through our thoughts, words and actions.

At Unity of Grand Rapids, we encourage you to discover, explore and apply these principles and many other Unity teachings to your life.  To help you on your spiritual journey, we provide opportunities for growing your spiritual understanding through prayer and meditation, weekly worship, continuing education and sacred service.
