Passage Meditation Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm
The principals of meditation is simple: You are what you think. By meditating on words that embody your highest ideas, you drive them deep into your consciousness. There they take root and begin to create wonderful changes in your life – changes you wanted to make, but have not known how to bring about. This class helps you focus on sharpening concentration, helps you deal effectively with stress, release deep reserves of energy, leaves behind painful memories and live fully in the present, helps you discover your unique contributions to life, and so much more. The class offers fellowship for the first fifteen minutes, followed by reading a passage from Eknath Easwaran book on meditation. The last 30 minutes of class is silent meditation on the passage that was read. A Course In Miracles Thursdays, 12 noon - 1 pm
The Course says, "Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle."
During class study we learn to recognize and change responses to life situations from ego fear to responses of open-minded love. (Is your ego strong, persistent and controlling? Then rethink the ego as only a crafty learning tool committed to maintaining separation from God and His unconditional love.)
You mission, if you choose to take it, is to surrender to this ego tool and make another miracle love choice.
The Course says, "Nothing real can be threatened, Nothing unreal exists. Herein, lies the peace of God."
A Course of LoveThursdays, 2 -3 pm
The Course says, "This course was written for the mind - but only to move the mind to appeal to the heart...to shift its focus to the truth and away from what can be learned only by the mind... you were your SELF before you began learning ... your SELF is capable of bridging the two worlds."
During class study we admit to withholding ourselves from deep feelings of love. Why? Fear. We don't feel safe. Deep feelings of love require change ...new territory... openness...vulnerability.
Your mission, if you choose to take it, is to surrender yourself to your SELF.
The course says, "This time we take a step away from intellect, the pride of ego, and approach this final learning through the realm of the heart... the birthplace of the new... this is why we call this course, A COURSE OF LOVE."
